After studying engineering for many years, I realized how important the sine (or a cosine) function is. Everything I thought of was described by a sin() function. For example, an undampened oscillation, the radius of the universe, the rise and falls of companies, the rise and falls of countries, your state of waking and sleeping, the cosine function, etc.

The theory states that: "Everything in this universe can be described by a sinusoid."

It is just the wavelength that can be different.
