My banker made a mistake. Instead of upgrading my current credit card via (Product Upgrade and Annual Fee waiving), she applied for a brand new card for me! I should have figured that out when she asked me for my social.
Any way, I told the bank to close that account immediately when I saw it in my online banking page. However, the Credit Bureaus will not let that go unnoticed!
The 3 bureaus noted down that the account is opened and closed by consumer. Experian stated that this account would remain on file for, guess: 10 years! Yes, up until 2022 that I will see an account paid on time and closed by consumer gone.
This is unfair and it seems I cannot dispute that itself.
Be careful and learn from others' mistakes! :)
