In today's environment, enterprise risk management ("ERM") and crisis-management have become imperative for management and Boards of Directors. The consequences of risk arising from the rapid change in technological solutions that need to be addressed by a company in order to reduce exposure to potential adverse consequences may include, without limitation, those relating to business interruption, security/privacy, data integrity, intellectual property, licensing, records retention, electronic discovery, export control and other violations of law in both the US and foreign jurisdictions.
